All Set

Hi All!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Turkey Day! My family sure did. We didn't have to travel too far, just up the road to Dad & Mom's. I swear I don't know what I am going to do when the day comes that I have to actually cook Thanksgiving dinner!

After we eat dinner, the tradition is to put up Mom's Christmas tree and that is always an adventure! Mom is all into Santa Clause's and the count is up to 17 of them on display. We call it the Creepy Santa display! :)

On Friday, we went to the Celina Football playoff game. Yes, it was cold and raining but if you have ever been to a Celina game you know that you are willing to sit through just about anything to watch "the boys" play. They played Texarkana Pleasant Grove and beat them 52 - 21. The team is now in the Quarter Finals and play this coming Friday at 7:30 against Kaufman. Go Bobcats!

Shelby started Driver's Ed last night! Everyone off the roads...she will have permit in hand by this Friday! I can't believe that my baby is actually old enough to drive! Time goes by way too fast!

Shelby is in off season right now, so we are actually enjoying evenings at home! But no worries, we will be back at it after the Christmas break! She is signed up to attend a hitting camp at Texas A&M. She really wants to be an Aggie. Keep your fingers crossed that her dreams come true of being an Aggie and playing softball for them!

I suppose that is it for now.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Love ya....

David's Deer

David went to his deer lease in Quannah, TX this weekend and shot a really nice 9 pt buck. He was so excited. Funny thing is he sent me a text about 5 minutes before he shot it telling me how much hunting stunk!

Guess it doesn't stink so much now!

Volleyball and the playoffs

Hi!

Shelby was on the Varsity Volleyball team and her team made it to the playoffs for the 1st time in Celina's school history. Unfortunately, the playoff streak was short lived. We played Paris High School last Tuesday night and lost the match by 1 game. It was a real heart breaker!
